Ragged Hill Cider Company– is a small cidery run by father-daughter team Steve Garwood and Anne Garwood Hampp. They are focused on making the finest cider possible with responsibly grown, local fruit.
Whether you're planning a fun day out with friends, a unique date idea, or a relaxing solo adventure, our Local Cider House Tour is a toast-worthy experience you won't want to miss! Travel is included in the ticket price.
Itinerary
- 9:45 AM - Check-in at NEBG, meet your host and driver.
- 10:00 AM - Depart NEBG and begin scenic drive to Oakham, MA.
- 11:30 AM - Arrive at Ragged Hill Cider Company just in time for opening. Enjoy a relaxed orchard tour followed by a tasting and explore the beautiful grounds.
- 1:30 PM - Depart Ragged Hill Cider, and begin the scenic drive back to the Garden.
- 2:00 PM - Visit BikeHouse Brewing & Cider
- 3:00 PM - Depart for NEBG
- 4:00-5:00 PM - Return to NEBG

- Cider tastings and travel included.
- Snacks and nosh will be available at the cidery; feel free to bring your own lunch.
- Sober Sips (non-alcoholic) alternatives available at both locations.
- This experience runs rain or shine. Please dress accordingly and wear sturdy walking shoes.
- Tour at Ragged Hill Cider Company includes uneven terrain and narrow paths; participants should be comfortable walking outdoors for up to half an hour.

Co-founder and head cidermaker of Ragged Hill Cider in West Brookfield, MA, Steve Garwood helped transform a former orchard into a thriving cidery rooted in local fruit and sustainable practices. With a background in orchard management and cider production, Steve oversees every step from planting to pouring.

TRIPS & TOURS POLICY
These tours require advance coordination with our transportation partners and host wineries, and as such, all reservations are final. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges once registration is complete, regardless of personal circumstances or scheduling conflicts. This policy ensures we can uphold our commitments to our partners and continue offering high-quality, thoughtfully curated experiences. You may transfer your registration to another party; a $10 registration fee will apply.Refunds will only be issued if NEBG must cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, political unrest, emergency shutdowns, or if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. In the event of a cancellation, all registrants will be notified promptly and refunded in full.
