Learn about trees from around the world, why they are important to our environment, and how Arbor Day helps protect and celebrate these vital plants. After our tree exploration, students will design a one-of-a-kind wire tree sculpture. Using wire wrapped around a natural stone base, they’ll shape a twisting tree trunk and branches, then add colorful beads to represent leaves. 

Please note participants will be shown how to use pliers to curl wire.
