Do you have a passion for photography but are unsure of how to use all the features of your camera or smartphone?  Are you a practiced photographer looking for a professional eye to improve your photos? All levels of experience are welcome in our ongoing Monthly Photography Club.  Join experienced photographer Steve McGrath as he provides individualized attention as you work with your own equipment in this intimate, hands-on class in our Gardens and Conservatories.  Each month students will focus their camera on 3-4 areas of the Garden. Class will feature time for taking photos and connecting with Steve and other class participants to get feedback, share tips and tricks, and hone your skills.  The club is offered monthly between April and August.  Sign up for one or join us each month! This class takes place fully outdoors or in our subtropical conservatories. Class will take place rain or shine.

Please note that this club meets once a month between February and August and the price is per meeting.  Please register for each individual meeting you wish to attend.

Instructor – Steve McGrath

Steve McGrath is a professional freelance photographer and photography teacher who has been creating images for 20 years. Steve first began by shooting sports photography for local high schools, then weddings, and stock agencies. Then his love of the outdoors led him to focusing more on his true passion, nature photography. Steve was an active member of the Gateway Camera Club for many years and has won many ribbons and awards at fairs and competitions through the group and on his own. Several of his images have been published in school text books. His favorite places to shoot are Acadia National Park in Maine, the Green Mountains of Vermont, and the Cape Cod National Seashore.

$40 Adult; $55 Non-Member Adult (price includes admission to the Garden)

2. Select Class: Return to the class page you wish to attend.
3. Select attendees: If you have not already done so, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and add Attendees.  You will need to add yourself and anyone else you wish to register. If you have already done this, the Attendees will be listed below and simply check the box next to the desired attendees.
4. Add the class to your cart and enter payment.
