Bluebird Discovery: Nesting, Migration, and Citizen Science 

Explore the fascinating world of bluebirds with a guided hike focused on understanding this species' habitats and behaviors through the conservation practice of nest boxes. Participants will experience a demonstration of installing a nest box, learn about community science, and how to contribute to the conservation of bluebird populations through monitoring. Meet Your Instructor: Georgia Albanese, Landscape Gardner at NEBG

Georgia Albanese is the Landscape Gardener of New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. She has been with the organization since May 2023 and is mainly responsible for regular groundskeeping of the property as well as executing various conservation projects within the Garden’s natural spaces, one of which is managing our nest box program. Georgia holds a B.S. of Environmental Conservation and Sustainability from the University of New Hampshire; her professional interests include natural resource conservation, restoration ecology, and sustainable systems.

• If you have not already done so, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and add Attendees.  You will need to add yourself and anyone else you wish to register with.
• If you have already done this, the Attendees will be listed below and simply check the box next to the desired attendees. Make sure to choose the correct price category for each participant.  This can be found in the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of the screen, next to the name of the participant.
