The Paul E. Rogers Memorial Lecture Fund

Paul E. Rogers was a noted horticultural educator who focused on the informational and educational aspects of horticulture. His communication philosophy was to “be kind and have fun.”  For over forty years, he was a popular columnist at the Worcester Telegram, writing “Roots of Wisdom,” and was the host of the Gardener’s Calendar radio show on WTAG.

About the Fund
Paul’s four children – Cynthia A. Rogers, Betsy R. Landry and her husband Richard of Charlton, Daniel J. Rogers and his wife Justine of Millbury, and Barry A. Rogers and his wife Carolyn of Novelty, OH, seek to keep Paul’s memory and legacy alive by creating the Paul E. Rogers Memorial Lecture Fund at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. The lecture series will honor Paul’s passion for sharing gardening knowledge with others and will feature noted speakers in the field of horticulture.
